Making flight safer
Indra Navia AS is a high-technology company delivering safety-critical air traffic management solutions to 1,400 airports in more than 120 countries. A team of 200 technologists and commercial heads is devoted to making flight safer, with development and production co-located centrally in Asker.
We have been an industrial company in Norway since 1916. Now, as a subsidiary of the global Indra group, we are also supporting Indra’s transport and defense activities in the Nordic countries.
We contribute to flight safety at some of the busiest airports in the world, such as London Heathrow, Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Dubai.

Shaping the future
Innovation is part of our DNA. We are constantly working to improve our solutions and find new ways of making flight safer, greener and improving the passenger experience.
We collaborate closely with industry partners and the academic world. Together with the Kongsberg group, we have developed Avinor’s new technology platform enabling them to remotely control multiple Norwegian airports from a digital tower centre in Bodø.
We are an active contributor to EU’s SESAR research and innovation programme, in which private and public partners cooperate on making Europe’s aviation infrastructure greener, smarter and more efficient.
Every year we also welcome several students for summer projects, internships and master thesis, supported by the strong technology environment we can offer.
