Born in Sabadell (Barcelona), 1972. He has a degree in Business Administration from ESADE (Barcelona), an MSc CEMS from HEC (Paris), a PIM from Michigan Business School and a MBA from Harvard University (Boston).

He is a founding partner and CEO of Abac Capital, an independent European private equity firm with offices in Barcelona and Madrid.

Previously, he served as Global Co-Head of Retail & Consumer and as a Partner at the private equity firm Apax Partners; he has also worked at Merrill Lynch and at The Boston Consulting Group.

He has also been Vice President of Barcelona Global, President and Vice President of SpainCap, President of the HBS Club of Barcelona, Treasurer of the ESADE Alumni Board, and Board Member of New Look Retail Holdings and Vueling.

He is currently involved in and serves as a trustee of several non-profit organizations, including the Barcelona School of Economics, Barcelona & Partners, and the Barcelona Finance Cluster, as well as the Pere Tarrés Foundation, where he serves as Vice President.
