Achieve gender equality and empower women. Gender equality is a fundamental human right and one of the essential principles for building a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world, as stated by the United Nations.

Target 5.5 Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life.

• 32% women in the workforce and 26% in management and leadership positions (17.7% in leadership and 27.2% in management)
• Signatory since 2011 to the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)

Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth

Contribute to economic and social progress in the contexts where we operate through manufacturing, technological development, and investment in people and their skills. Create opportunities for qualified work, stable and quality employment. Support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Target 8.2 Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological modernisation, and innovation.

Target 8.3 Promote productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation, and foster the formalisation and growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

• More than 61,000 professionals, 94% of whom have permanent contracts
• More than €1.7 billion in purchase orders from over 7,000 approved suppliers in more than 96 countries worldwide

Goal 9: Industry, innovation, and infrastructure

Promote technological development through an open innovation approach, sharing resources, knowledge, and structures with external partners to foster stronger, more stable, and sustainable industrial, environmental, and social development, support employment, and create value for all stakeholders.

Target 9.5 Enhance scientific research and upgrade the technological capacity of industrial sectors in all countries […] fostering innovation and substantially increasing the number of research and development workers per million people and the corresponding spending.

• €427.6 million in total R&D investment in 2024, 8.8% of the Group’s total sales
• More than 140 R&D+i projects in collaboration with universities and research centres

Goal 10: Reduced inequalities

Create wealth and drive economic and social development. Promote genuine equality between men and women in access to employment, training, promotion, and working conditions. Support workers with different abilities, facilitating their workplace integration, and foster diversity and social inclusion for vulnerable groups.

Target 10.2 Empower and promote the social, economic, and political inclusion of all people, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic status, or other condition.

Target 10.3 Ensure equal opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcome, including by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies, and action in this regard.

• 1% of professionals with disabilities in the workforce
• More than 1,400 volunteers and over 10,500 hours dedicated to community volunteering initiatives
• More than 12,000 direct beneficiaries of the initiatives carried out

Goal 13: Climate action

Prevent and mitigate climate change through technological solutions used for Earth observation and monitoring of natural phenomena, reducing CO₂ emissions, and developing products and systems with a low environmental impact.

Target 13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters in all countries.

Target 13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising, and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction, and early warning.

Science-based target (SBT) for CO_₂ emissions reduction compared to 2019 formally approved:

• 90% reduction in scope 1 and 2 and –55% reduction in scope 3 by 2030
