Indra Group is undertaking some of the most ambitious and innovative international mobility and public transport projects and reinforcing its standing as one of the top three global firms, a ranking endorsed by over 2,500 projects in more than 50 countries and 100 cities worldwide
– Indra Group will attend Global Mobility Call 2026, one of the main international events devoted to sustainable mobility set to be held from June 9 to 11 at IFEMA Madrid, as the world’s flagship technological partner for comprehensive solutions to transform urban and interurban mobility, transport, and infrastructures. The company will also present itself as a pioneering company, with solutions that are already in operation in areas such as connected cars, dual technology for railway infrastructures, and user account-based transport management.
It will showcase its advanced ticketing systems for public transport, one of the solutions that have brought it the greatest success worldwide and had the largest impact on urban mobility and citizens. These systems, already implemented or currently being implemented in major cities such as Riyadh, Santiago de Chile, London, and Dublin, optimize management and efficiency for operators and allow for an improved user experience through more flexible, interoperable, and beneficial payment models, contributing to greater use of public transport.
Indra Group will also present the In-Mova Transit solution it has introduced into the new vehicles of Brisbane Metro in Australia. This optimizes operations, improves passenger information, and facilitates a more efficient and attractive travel experience for citizens.
Technologies such as artificial intelligence, V2X communications, 5G, digital twins, and advanced sensors are optimizing traffic management and transport networks, improving the user experience, and leading the movement towards safer, more efficient, and more sustainable infrastructures.
Indra Group will display the breakthroughs it has made in connected vehicles with a solution that allows cars to exchange information directly with the road infrastructure, thereby improving safety, operational efficiency, and the driving experience. Indra Group is the first company in the world to have put this technology into operation. One example of the above is the project it has developed on the I-485 Express Lanes highway in North Carolina (United States), the first in the country to incorporate C-V2X technology for connected tolling services, real-time information, and intelligent traffic management using 3D LiDAR sensors.
“The transformation of mobility is underway, and Indra Group is leading the change as one of the leading technological partners on the international stage. Our solutions can adapt to the needs of the authorities and operators and respond to the challenges of urban and interurban transport, allowing the evolution towards smart infrastructures that improve the passenger experience by placing them at the centre of the ecosystem”, declared Raúl Ripio, Senior- Vice President of Mobility Business at Indra Group.
“Solutions based on account management, increasingly streamlined and straightforward information and access control systems, services for connected cars, efficient and sustainable management platforms, technologies to modernize rail transport, and systems for digitizing critical infrastructures are just some examples of the capabilities we’ll be showcasing at the Global Mobility Call”, stated Ripio.
The company also has capabilities in the fields of open digital railway signalling, critical infrastructure protection, and cybersecurity, and it provides solutions for the digitization of ports, airports, and logistics platforms, reinforcing a comprehensive proposal that encompasses all means of transport.
At the Global Mobility Call Indra Group will emphasize how technology can anticipate the future of mobility, driving smarter infrastructures capable of satisfying the new transport demands through an innovative model that’s already operational in different parts of the world.
