Indra Group has received an award from SAP for its firm commitment and its global capacity to scale artificial intelligence projects in the cloud for large organizations. It acknowledges the company’s contribution to key areas such as Cloud ERP, Business Data Cloud, and Business AI, as well as its alignment with SAP’s core technological strategy, thus reinforcing its role as a key partner within its global ecosystem.
Sebastián Bamonde and Luis Fernández, the respective managing directors of Tech Operations and Minsait, received the 2025 SAP Business Data Cloud Success & SAP Business AI Customer Adoption in Large Enterprises Award in the Global Strategic Service Partner category at the awards ceremony. The distinction will boost the group’s standing as a benchmark for the implementation of large-scale advanced artificial intelligence solutions, and its ability to deliver tangible, consistent, and productivity-driven results to organizations under the SAP ecosystem.
“This recognition means something special for Indra Group, because it confirms that our way of understanding artificial intelligence has become a tangible reality for our customers. The AI we’re deploying has left any experimental phase behind, given that it’s a robust and scalable technology poised to truly transform how organizations operate. Being able to do so in the SAP ecosystem also opens the door to major developments and transformations. It’s particularly satisfying that SAP has acknowledged not only our technical capabilities, but also the trust that so many companies place in us when it comes to heading initiatives that require ambition, discipline, and a profoundly human vision of innovation”, stated Sebastián Bamonde, head of Tech Operations.
Indra Group’s expertise in the digital transformation has proved key to this recognition. This expertise has also been backed by the evolution that the technological group has undergone in terms of designing new solutions and the efficiency of its processes and operations. It has progressed from models with chiefly assistive functions to an orchestrated AI ecosystem driven by co-piloting tools that significantly increase the efficiency, scale, and impact of projects. This move towards more autonomous and robust solutions facilitates the management of end-to-end processes with high degrees of reliability and generates measurable results in customers’ operations.
This progress has been strengthened by the role of Minsait, the Indra Group company specializing in the digital transformation and advanced technologies that stands at the forefront of the deployment of artificial intelligence in large companies and civilian organizations. Its experience of integrating solutions, its knowledge of the different sectors and its results-oriented approach have helped to consolidate its role as a partner within the SAP ecosystem, in which it has developed pioneering initiatives in the area.
According to Minsait managing director Luis Fernández, “part of our job involves harnessing technology and turning it into more streamlined decisions, more efficient operations, and business models capable of evolving with the market. Our organizations must be digitally resilient and competitive in the increasingly demanding world of business and services. SAP designating us as a reference partner against the global backdrop therefore constitutes a major recognition of the talent and determination of our teams, and strengthens our commitment to continue accompanying our customers along a path requiring innovation, in-depth knowledge, and the desire to transform”.
Thanks to this combination of competences, Indra Group and Minsait will continue to foster more flexible, intelligent, and data-driven business models, thus bolstering their global operations in the fields of artificial intelligence and SAP solutions. Indra Group forms part of SAP’s select group of Strategic Partners, which is made up of just twenty organizations around the world. The partnership, in place since 2011, has been enhanced by a common vision of the transformational role to be played by data and artificial intelligence in the coming years, and it will continue to constitute a pillar that’s key to developing innovative solutions with a real and sustainable impact.
