Indra Group reorganizes itsManagement Committee to align with its new operating model

The Board of Directors of Indra Group, at its meeting held today and prior a favorable report from the Appointments, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee, has approved five changes to its Management Committee with the aim of aligning it with the new operating model and preparing the company for the execution of its new Strategic Plan, which will be presented on November 25, 2026.

The senior executives leaving the company are: Manuel Ausaverri, Chief Strategy Officer; Manuel Escalante, Chief Technology Officer; Antonio Mora, Managing Director of Organization; Juan Pedro Rodríguez Veiga, Managing Director of International; and Miguel Ángel Panduro, Managing Director of Indra Space. The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude to all of them for their dedication and services rendered to the Company.

At the same time, the Board of Directors has approved the integration of Defence and Space businesses into a single General Management led by Juan Ramón Hernández. The ATM and Mobility businesses will also be merged under the leadership of Víctor Martínez, the current General Manager of ATM (Air Traffic Management). The current Chief Financial Officer, Miguel Forteza, will assume responsibility for the Management Control Division as well the company’s M&A function, in addition to his current responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer. David Santos, currently serving as Chief Legal Officer, has been appointed Technical Secretary General. Meanwhile, Frank Torres has also been promoted from his rol as Head of Indra Land Vehicles and Chief Program Officer to Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In addition, a new Strategy, Technology and Product Division is being created and will be led by a newly appointed senior executive. A recruitment process is already underway, while CEO Josep Maria Recasens will oversee the division on an interim basis. Following these changes, Indra Group's Management Committee will be streamlined to 10 general managers reporting directly to the CEO.

These changes are intended to align the company's structure and leadership team with the new operating model, reflecting its evolving strategic priorities and business objectives.

The objective is to strengthen execution capabilities, simplify the organization, maximize synergies across business areas, and accelerate decision-making. "We are building the organization we will need to deliver our next Strategic Plan. We want to become a simpler, more agile company with a stronger ability to execute. Excellence will be at the heart of everything we do," said Josep Maria Recasens, Chief Executive Officer of Indra Group.

Under the new organizational model, international activities will be integrated into the respective Business Units, which will assume full responsibility for their for their development. The new model is designed around simpler and more effective processes, a stronger focus on products, great emphasis on innovation and quality from the outset. It will also enable faster decision-making closer to the point of execution, while strengthening the company's technological and industrial capabilities to advance technological sovereignty and reinforce its collaborative ecosystem.
