Minsait wins AWS "Rising Star Partner of the Year" award

AWS has given an award to the digital company for driving innovation and growth of its products and solutions in 2024
Minsait is recognized as one of AWS's most outstanding global partners; this award is in addition to others won by the company such as the "AWS Migrations Prospecting Hero" and "Gen AI Innovative Solution"
Minsait, an Indra Group company and a leader in digital transformation, has today been awarded the Rising Star Partner of the Year 2024 Spain award, a regional recognition from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that rewards the most outstanding partners for their innovation and specialization in collaboration with customers to drive new business models and create solutions on the AWS cloud. The winners were selected according to objective criteria and the results were audited by the external analyst firm Canalys.
For Luis Abril, executive director of Indra and CEO of Minsait, this award "confirms the excellent work that Minsait and AWS have been doing together for years. Our commitment to business innovation, in terms of data security and in the scaling of operations to the cloud and the promotion of artificial intelligence to accelerate processes, allows us to position ourselves in a preeminent position from which to support organizations in their digital revolution. Doing so with a strategic partner like AWS helps us to offer the best digital solutions tailored to the real needs of our customers and to be able to compete in a global environment increasingly marked by uncertainty and change.
The Rising Star Partner of the Year 2024 award recognizes Minsait's work in a year in which the company has already achieved several milestones thanks to the developments made on the AWS technology base, such as its AI Book, a platform for generating summaries and personalized content with AI, which is ideal for those sectors that need quick access to relevant information, allows online queries and generates summaries tailored to each user, optimizing research time and facilitating access to key data. This development was awarded the AWS GenAI Innovative Solution, an award that Minsait received during the AWS Partner Summit, an annual AWS event in which the company also received another award from the technology giant: the AWS Migrations Prospecting Hero, for being the company that creates the most valuable cloud migration opportunities.
Minsait combines its extensive experience in successful migrations of processes and operations to the cloud, with a comprehensive approach to digitalization that incorporates competencies in the DevOps methodology, an agile engineering culture and practice that unifies the development (Dev) and operation (Ops) of software to meet business needs individually and quickly. It also has the Migration and Modernization competency, which certifies technical expertise in AWS and the success of its customer projects. As part of its collaboration with AWS, it is a member of the Global Security & Compliance Acceleration program, which specializes in security and compliance requirements for scaling to the cloud; as well as being part of the Tech Alliance initiative, which fosters the professional training of students and adapting educational programs to technology, with a focus on more than 400 vocational education and training centers and more than 70 universities in Spain.
In terms of projects, in addition to the aforementioned AI Book, AWS and Minsait have collaborated on other solutions such as the evolution of the reservations distribution system of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas - formerly NH Hotel Group - to Amazon Web Services; or the strategy and execution of data and process migration at BBVA. In the energy field, both firms have collaborated with Iberdrola in the identification, approval and implementation of a data platform based on AWS services, or have carried out the first cloud-based management that allows the critical infrastructure of a country's entire electricity network to be operated and monitored from the cloud, developed with ENERGUATE, the electricity company of Guatemala and the largest in Central America. Minsait's SCADA system, the most advanced system on the market for electrical control, has been installed in the plant; it consists of a technological infrastructure that enables automatic resource allocation, adjusts resources according to consumption, and can incorporate advanced analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to facilitate learning and continuous improvement in decision-making.
AWS Partner Network (APN) is a global partner program engaged in helping AWS partners build successful businesses or solutions based on their cloud infrastructure, while providing them with business, technical, marketing and sales support. The APN includes independent software vendors and systems integrators from around the world, with member partner participation growing significantly over the past 12 months.
