Vasco Mendes de Almeida

CEO of Indra Group in Portugal and PALOP

Vasco Mendes de Almeida is currently CEO of Indra Group in Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP). He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and a postgraduate qualification in Management from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG). He has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership and strategic development.

He began his professional career in 1994 and has been with Indra Group since 2006, where he has held several leadership roles in operational and commercial areas, as well as coordinating strategic projects. He is recognised for his commitment to talent development and for balancing results with human values. His leadership style is focused on sustainable growth, innovation, and overcoming global challenges.
