Indra advocates digitalization and rail IOT to improve the competitiveness of the sector at Rail Live

In addition, at 10:15 am on December 2, Juan March, Indra’s director of Rail, Urban and Interurban Transport, will take part in the panel discussion titled: The Smart “New Deal”: how tech would support operators’ challenges, together with José Anguita, the company’s sales director for the transport market, and José Miguel Rubio, its director of rail transport for Europe. The executives will discuss how technology can contribute to promoting improvements in the efficiency, sustainability and safety of railroad operations and facilitate better use of the existing infrastructures, thus enabling them to increase their capacity. Likewise, they will explain the importance of the digitalization of railroad operations as a pillar of the transformation and integration of the entire mobility ecosystem.

In the lecture titled Rail IoT, the next Big Thing for the future of railways, Juan March will address the opportunities that can be provided by the development of a rail IoT network in moving towards more automated and safer and smarter management.
